THE KINKERA TEAM
Executive

Ian Jordan
Director / Founder

Ian Jordan
Director / Founder
I come from a property and finance background and have been involved full time in the disability sector for the past five years. Prior to KinKera I served as Chair of a Community Housing Provider that grew tenfold over a three year period, which gave me deep insight into how housing intersects with community, governance and long term outcomes. Earlier in my career I served in the Navy, an experience that shaped my approach to leadership, accountability and teamwork.
At KinKera my focus is on building strong foundations that support people and communities well into the future. I care deeply about creating systems and structures that allow good people to do great work, and about ensuring housing delivers more than shelter by supporting genuine connection and belonging.
What do you enjoy most about your role at KinKera?
The KinKera team. They are thoughtful, capable and committed, and they consistently find ways to work through challenges together.
What matters most to you when supporting participants and communities?
People. Homes are important, but relationships, trust and shared purpose are what truly create community.
